was bored and tunred the turn signal bumper into fogs.
Had an extra set of front blinker/market lights and got bored so decided to take them apart and see if I could fit fogs in there.
Took them apart after a short trip in the oven to melt the glue.
Not a whole lot of place in there but found some cheap autozone fog lights that would actually fit in there with enough place to still fit the blinker bulb. Back in the oven for a few minutes and put them back together. Have not done the driver side as I cannot decide if it looks ok or not. Any input would be appreciated.

hardly any snow in the city, mostly in the mountains. still dont drive her since there is crap on the streets from the last little storm. Just decided to bring her out and wash all the dust of.
I was thinking of doing that, need to source one of the center console switches and get the other side done once I get back into town.

The Snow for the last couple of weeks eventually melted and I got the other side done and installed. Still need a factory switch or one of the Blank covers in the center console switch panel by the ashtray if anyone has one and willing to sell.

thanks all, I will answer all the questions in order.
Shining them throught the turn signal lens does seem to refract the light a little into vertical lines but very slightly and it looks kind of cool. I thought about sanding/smoothing out the inner surface of the lens in the area that the lights shine out of but seemed like a real pain to do and I left it as a backup option if it looked bad. At this point though I dont see any problem with the pattern and will shoot a pic against the garage door for you guys this evening so you can see it.
Have not had it on the road due to all the mag chloride on the roads but sitting in the car facing out of the garage I can see quite a bit of difference in lighting.
Heat is a concern of mine, that why I didnt hack up my nice original ones and used some old ones I got. So far I have had them on while the car has been sitting still for about 15 minutes or so to test this. They do get hot but nothing too crazy. They are actually somewhat vented as I made a hole in the back to pass the extra wire through. I would assume that when the car is moving the moving air should keep them relatively cool.
I forget the brand as I am here at work and cant check but they were the $30-$40generic ones you get at autozone. I went with the slightly blue lenses so the light color matches the silverstars pretty well.
