yea i think the polished lip sets it off. i like the hyperblack finish i have seen on a few cars.

Black on black looks great. Also, I saw a car out at PFS once that was black, w/ black-centered Fikse FM5s (polished rims), and it was HOT.

About the only way to not have an 'overdone' color of wheel is to paint it pink. Go with what you like. I personally love the black spokes and chrome lip on a black RX-7.

black on gunmetal definitely looks good. i think i've decided to either go black or hyperblack(which looks like a dark dark gray)

Hyperblack is also a good choice at some angles it will freakishly look like chrome.
