The best way to clean lexan?
The best way to clean lexan?
My Cosmo has a lexan windshield, and it's really fogged up...
I have to drive like Ace Ventura to see anything...
It's not scratches either...
It's like it smears bad every time I wipe it with something,
and I've seen threads about how to clean FTP's,
but I don't remember what they used...

I was actually wondering if there was anything I could do immediately...
I have to be able to drive the car, so I gotta fix this quick...
Is there anything you can get at like Autozone or something?
I'm gonna get some of the Novus Polish, but I need a quick fix too...
Thanks!!!

Yea, I have a 91 TII but it needs an engine rebuild...
I'm just waiting on the porting templates...
I guess I'll just order the polish.
I found a Novus kit on eBay, so I'm buying...

In the meantime, you might try basic auto polish. (Just straight, non-waxing polish like Meguire's step 2) Lexan is just a plastic, and polish works great for de-hazing old plastic headlights.
Naturally, start carefully in a small corner before committing to the whole thing.
