best method of stipping paint

what is the best method to get it to bare metal?
Sand blasting, bead blasting or maybe even high pressure with water?

I guess it depends on what you're stripping the paint off of. I usually use aircraft stripper. It's really agressive but doesn't damage the metal underneath.
