Hi everyone, I have a red FD with Gold Advan RGII rims. I am thinking of getting new paint for my car, but cannot decide what color to go with, what are your opinions?
suggestions with pics would be much appreciated! Thanks

Personally, I would suggest staying with OEM Vintage Red. However, going with a darker, deeper red may be an option.

 

Im always a fan of dark black. Thats the color Im going for just not sure what type

If the engine bay will not be painted as well, I would not go too extreme in a color difference. Maybe a darker red... or OEM.

But that's just me....

 

always been a fan of white FD's but it seems more and more MB's have been tastefully done and gazing my attention.

i went with Championship white from the honda ITR
go with whatever color you'd prefer and personalize it. and as others have said there is an FD picture thread. enjoy =)

 

You should tell us what colours you like first, otherwise you'll get million different answers cause colour is personal taste but since you mentioned gold wheels I'd suggest going with darker colours like metallic blue, candy apple red, midnight purple etc.

Im now deciding the original vintage red or this color, it looks like mix of red and pink, not sure what is called, here is a pic of some car with this color.

 

i repainted my car blue!! it looks so much better than the other color!!

 

if you're not painting the engine bay, then my vote is for Vintage Red or darker. lighter reds can makes the paint look faded
