Question AudioControl EQX

Is anyone fimiliar w/ these??.....I got it for a song.... it looks nice.....Whats it worth?....I think it may have too much tuneability for me....Its like a 32 band EQ and a crossovr...I think the guy I bought it from said it had a 90hz crossover chip in it....

Two channel 15 band two way crossover. Unless you know what you are doing you will drive yourself nuts trying to tune it. It is a very nice unit though. Get it and let a shop with a RTA tune it for you. should be about $40.

Yes its worth it, no matter what type of music you listen to!! It's a tool on which you can increase or decrease the quality of your music, you can a have a shop tune it for you with a RTA or you can tune it yourself in the same shop with the same RTA; it's up to you (and the shop, some of them don't rent the RTA).

BTW - I don't have any hands on experience with Audio Control, I prefer a PPI DEQ 230.
