Audio Gurus: 3 or 6 CD in dash player?
Hey guys and gals
I want my cake and eat it too, meaning, I'm looking for an in-dash CD player
that accepts 3 or 6 CD's at once, or built-in changer. The trick is I want it to be a single din unit so's I can keep my cupholder in my vert (Icemark idea) as it is. Nakamichi makes one for $600, you folks know of another brand a bit cheaper?
I had a 6 CD changer in my GSL-SE, although it was double-din, it spoiled me..
Thanks!

Dude.... switch to MP3's... I can put between 5 and 10 Albums on a disk and I always use 192KBPS rates. I have never had a problem with skipping either. Also, my cd's never leave the house, so they never get scratched, lost or stolen.
Just my 2 cents man, but, I'd never buy another CD only player.

As for the 3 or 6 changer. theyre cool too. if you dont listen to music that often, you can keep the same 6 cd's in there and not get sick of 'em

Bring the Noise
This is what you want, get a Sony head unit single CD unit then purchase a Phatnoise changer. Well it's a unit that replaces a CD changer it really like a computer harddrive for your car and you won't have to worry about carrying CDs in your car because you'll be able to have your complete music collection in the car with you at all times. No skipping, loosing disk etc. Check it out.

The initial cost might hurt a little but in the long this is the way to go. You can choose which digital format you want to rip you music in. I use FLAC because it gives you the same sound quality as WAV but it only takes up half the space.
