I own a 2002 focus SVT with 78,000 original miles. I bought this car cheap at 64k miles a little over a year and a half ago because of unknown electrical issues. It goes through an alternator per year or so. The previous owner even tried redoing the charging harness. I plan on inspecting it and probably redoing the "big three".

What does it mean when you check the battery for voltage at the terminals with multi meter and the multimeter wires get hot quickly. This also happened while checking my amp 12v power wire from battery. (Tested by the amp)
