Arranging speakers in the back

Hi!

A few days ago i bought a stereo kit containing:

1x Harman/Kardon Amplifier
1x JBL Amplifier
1x Pioneer DEH-3000 Player
2x 5,25" Polk Midtones and tweeters
2x 6,5" Polk Midtones
2x Tweeters
1x 12" Polk Subwoofer

How would i go about arranging the placement of all the speakers? I got room in the doors for the 5,25" speakers but how do i go about arranging the rest in the back of the car, ive got a wooden plate fitted instead of the old original backflap.

As ive understood from others i need a box for the subwoofer behind the wooden plate too get real sound.I was hoping i would be able too place it so that i could put a strut bar on the rear springtowers, does that mean i have too pivot the subwoofer inwards against the coupè? Should i mount my tweeters in the rearwindow instead of in the wooden plate?

I'm going to just go ahead and assume you have an FC due to your avatar.
I'm my car i went simple.
Polk two-way speakers in the stock dash spots up front.
fresh wiring to all speakers
8" subs mounted in each rear shock tower (no need for full range back there)
simple, hidden and light, never had an issue and had ipod connectivity

In the FD
6.5" component speakers up front
10" subwoofer in back.

sounds ok, don't expect to get serious bump from it there's no air volume there, but if space is what your after, stuff 8"s in the towers, i liked it. I didn't even have mine amped, was on a budget, lol. The same idea of space saving is going into my FD.

what kind of modding/cutting (if any) did you have to do to put the 8" subs back there? got any pic's?

no mods, at all, just make sure you buy a sub that's shallow enough to fit, take a measurement and browse Crutchfield.

I went for tweeters upfront on the dash and 5.25" in the doors and 6.5" in the original springtower speakermounts behind and a 10" sub in the back of the trunk, anything above 10" would be ridicolous inthe car, unless you wanna play for everyone OUTSIDE the car aswell, my 12" sub gave waaaay too much base and even my 10" Polk is set too minimum on all levels, still its abit too much i think
