i have this on my car and it seems pretty accurate to me. the max/min rich readings are 10.0 and 20.0......and i usually run 10,10.1,10.2 all the time with 93 octane, and stock boost...i hit 12 psi one day and the higher rpm i went it went from 10 and made its way to 12.

but it seems accurate enough, at least at WOT. off throttle its 14-15, with octane boost it hits 10.0 WOT all the time(rich).

its not wideband tho, so im sure its similar to all other a/f gauges. it doesnt bounce around as much as those colored ones though.

it uses the stock sensor, so onviously performance will be tied into the condition of the stock unit. I imagine its fairly accurate for monitoring purposes, I mean the ECU uses its output to trim fuel characteristics, so mazda put some faith into it..

I wouldn't use it to tune though - Unless you WANT a new motor...just monitor with it.. if, say you notice on one particular stretch at WOT your always 10.2, and then over time it starts changing, you might be tipped off to check your fuel filter, or clean the injectors. or change the fuel pump. By the time the gauge shows lean though, the potential for damage could have existed for some time inside the engine.
