I want to paint the black interior trim pieces in my FD that are peeling really bad. I saw a commercial this weekend about a paint by Krylon that is specifically for plastic. Has anyone used this paint? I thought it might be good for these trim pieces.

 

yea i used this paint on my interior in my FC and it works well but after about a week it still feels tacky. im gonna spray a couple clear coats over it to stop that sticky feeling. as for the center console piece it lifted right off. i guess cuz its like rubber or something

 

Garfinkle used it on some parts on his fd , they dried fast and look very good. No clear coat , no tacky feel. Thanks to Rotorbrain for the info on it .

 

i just go done putting a clear coat over it. i painted it all red and it looked good but now... damn it looks like glass over the red... very nice.

 

I used it before. Very durable. Nice finish too.

 

Where can i get those paint?

 

i got mine at Fazzios in turnersville nj...lol but im sure u can get it at home depot...pepboys... or ace hardware.
