just be really careful I know those are expensive. I did it on a couple sets of the stock lights and burned the lenses really bad once.

I have paid to have 3 sets of tail lights done the last couple of years didnt want to mess that up. I was talking about the front combo lights I did. The way I did it was take out the screws in the lense (dont think yours have that

then I put it in a glass tray in the oven for about 3 minutes and with gloves would take them out and try to pry them open every minute. When I felt the glue was hot enough for me to take off the entire lense then I did it slowly. Just keep checking them every minute or so after the first 2-3 minutes in there. then make sure to seal them again with some glue or rtv but dont get any on the lense or you are FU**ed. I did that once and tried to clean the lenses and anything I used made the lense dull

If I were you id leave it how it is honestly. It might not look good as I found out. If you really want to do it wait for someone else to try it first

yeah i did the oven trick for my taillights to 99spec them, but when i tried to re-heat them and re-assemble them in the oven, the heat melted the outside part and creased it used a heatgun and it was fine lol. I guess ill give it a shot sometime and see how it works out. Id just like to get rid of the orange and have j/ smoked lenses to totally clean up the front end.

if these new lights are like a lot of aftermarket lights then you cant open them up. the stock lights are polycarbonate with that soft glue to hold them on, a lot of aftermarket lights i have seen are pmma lenses and they have a very hard glue that doesnt soften. you will break the lens trying to get it off.
