Anyone with the Pre-Auto Sleek FD Lights

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone here had the Pre-Auto Sleek FD headlights.

What is driving at night like with them??? Can I convert them to HID's?

Thanks

Theo

Pre auto owner here...

A far as lighting is concerned:
It uses Hella H9 projectors. Driving with them at night is 100X improvement over stock. In fact you woud be wasting your time and money by converting to HID...

Preauto's issues are (were) CHEAP mounting hardware and this subpar lens cover. Those two issues combined make the kit lose all it's appeal. I spent quite a few hundresd bucks retrofiting my kit and now it's rock solid, I also purchased a thicker polycarbonate lens cover from pre auto. Now the kit is where I want it to be: Great lighting without a homemade feel = like it came stock.

lol for some reason the ghia always get love...

anyway last shot. You can see how bright they are even from the side:

My last thoughts on preauto lights. Great lighting, really updates the car for sure. But it has cheap brackets and lens cover (unless you buy the thicker ones which I greatly recommend)... I will say that for some reason they don't photograph very well as they lend themselves to a similar look of the fugly frog eyed east bears. Truth be told they actually look a lot better in person (At least IMO lol). Oh well to each his own...

I believe I still have the install instructions if you need them. Pm me your email if you are interested.

Save yourself some disapointment and create your own mounting harware. Like I said that's where the creator failed HARD.
