The battery died on my 93 FD which caused the radio security code to activate. I had a cassette tape pickup for the satellite radio in the cassette deck slot when the battery died and now I can not get the radio to allow me to input the security code by pressing the two buttons that usually bring up the "code" display. All that is displayed is "err", like I have input the wrong code. I can not eject the tape either. It acts like more than three wrong codes have been entered, in which case the radio has to be serviced by Clarion. Anyone have a suggestion? No wise-*** comments about replacing the radio. I just spent $600 to have all the Bose speakers re-built and the stock radio works fine- or at least it used to.
