I like the Scoot style hood but I can only find it in carbon fiber. I am not a big fan on carbon fiber hoods unless it on a red or black fd. My car is montego and never see a cabon fiber hood on one. Does anyone have any pics on one?

rotory extreme whats $ 1150 for a scoot fiberglass hood. Do you guys know of a replica for cheaper? the rx7 store only has one in carbon fiber on there site.

I acturally just sold my FG scoot hood from RE about 10 days ago.
But I'll share this info with you.
The VIS scoot and couple of other ones I've seen, isn't same as the RE version.
RE and the real scoot, its kind of hard to use it with SMIC's. The center opening of RE ver. is functioning unit that channels air to DP and master brake cylinder.
The VIS and other scoot hood I've seen, the front opening is blocked. But it fits very well with SMICs and LS1 engines. I bought it because I have other plans with the opening.

Also for the money, Vis isn't bad. If you don't like the CF look, you could always get it painted. I have another Vis CF hood that I'm going to paint it MB to match my car.
