It appears very similar to the Breathless fixed light kit for C5 Corvettes...

I'm just looking for a base to start a new OEM-appearing headlight kit from, and saw this in the carbon fiber hood thread. Anyone?

Beats me, but that's without a doubt the ugliest FD headlight kit I've ever seen ...

Those lights look like they're stolen directly from a early 90's Camaro.

Well, the picture came from this web site...

http://www.tsbar.com/

I-feelin'? Never heard of 'em.

It lists the lights at Y28,000, which is about $230 at today's exchange rate.

Shitz.. for $230 I'd do it. I really really dispise the OEM light pattern..even with higher watt PIAA bulbs... I'm not crazy about what surrounds the blue light (that SQ. is dorky) but maybe it could be changed somewhat..

My plan is to integrate two projector beams per side, with the option for a Phillips HID upgrade on a true low beam. No CATZ driving lights, no aircraft landing lights, no KC Daylighters... I want an OEM-style appearance and good light dispersion. I'm just looking for something to start from so that I don't have to reinvent the wheel totally from scratch...

A Lamborghini Murcielago-style solution, if you will...

hey Jim,

here are some light that you might be able to use. It is DOT approved and has a very nice beam pattern, very close to E-code lamps.

the site is http://www.susquehanna.com/susq/hella/90mm.htm

or you can continue mine...
HID for low beam and PIAAs for high...

David

PS the price at I-feeling is for the 4 point strut bar...not the lights

tks. dclin, those HIDs are really bright!! they were really blinding, well I couldn't figure out how to make the other side match the one I already made so I gave up.

waiting for my east bear and fitting the Hellas on there with HID!

dclin, you had the knightsports right? did you get them fitted with HID?

Cool

I wonder if they will fit in the "low rise" miata light kit I got? It incorperates 2 3" headlights and only pops up about half way.

Sorry to hear that. I'm scraping my pennies together to get the Knightsports, *sigh*.
