Never heard of it, and I didn't see an application for the FD on the site BTW, however, Import Precision and Vertical Doors both make a vertical door conversion kit for the car:

it doesn't have pic in that website, but it said it's compatible with FD.
this kit is developed by japanese company, and from the magazine, it also has the installation demo on a supra. The joint seems stronger than verticaldoor and importprecision. So I am just wondering whether anyone got it in north america.
Anyway, the door seems a bit "wide" though, verticaldoor seems more vertical than it.
