I heard that these are just regular handles with at CF sticker on it, not a true CF assembly. Can anyone confirm this?

not a sticker....it's a very nice paint job (clear coated) to emulate CF-look. Rotorsport, iirc, made a CF sticker overlay (not wrapped around) and forum doods offer some: "herblenny" made a sticker wrap around and mark koch takes your orig and uses real CF to wrap it. both looked quite nice.
