Red face Anyone have rear seats in their FD???

I was just messin around on Ebay and I found someone who is selling rear seats for 3rd gens. There was a pic and the seats were deeeep buckets, looked crappy and uncomfortable, and are put in the rear cargo area. I thought it was funny, just wondering if anybody has installed them

Hey I just installed mine this past weekend and I also noticed it's alot lighter than the bins & cover also u have more room to put more stuff in the back on top of the seats, before I use to put my laptop in the back on top of the bins and it get toss around alot now it just sit there also u will need to get some extra tan carpet and cut piece and past it both side at the bottm next to the door sill's. btw the guy that is selling the seat from ebay {it's jimmys rx7 from England} I had brought stuff from him he pretty cool and plus cheap prices.I will post pitcure later this week

lol you'd have to move your seat up probably almost all the way and they couldnt be over 6'
And thats probably just so they fit, no one will be comfy in those lol. I guess they had the averagely smaller sized japanese person in mind.

yeah ive got the rear seats. They are deeeeeeeeeeeeep buckets - fairly comfy for short journeys, but very cramped. Im 6'1" and with my 6' friend in the passenger seat, and the seat nearly all the way forward (not quite!) , i fitted in the back and he in the front. From outside you cannot see anyone sat in the back!

Another alternative is to sit in one bucket and put your feet in the other - thats not too bad ,and means the people in the front are comfy too.

I can post pics at the weekend if you're desperate.

Chris

Cool

Once I had to drive with my Dad and broher. I drove, my dad sat in the passenger side and my brother layed out in the back (he's 10).

It is stuffed back there (The only fault to my FD). I've been caught shopping many a time with too many bags so I have to stuff them in the back and trunk. The problem is I have the bose sound system with the subs so the trunk is small.
