I pretty much don't like the look of the euro tail lights for the fd, but these might look okay on certain colors, not sure:

people always want JDM stuff, but here in Japan, alot of people have those style of tail lights. Im not a fan. They look ok, why dont you get some S8 lights?

hrmmm, i guess 99 spec is the way to go for tails.

I don't like how ricey the euro's look but was thinking with a smoked lense they might look decent, but who cares not worth the trouble prolly.

I have an 06 rx8 also and the thing i hate most about it is the tail lights, but they look 10x better when smoked. As for them being illegal, i live in Miami and i see ppl driving around all the time with blatantly blue / orange / yellow head lights so not sure miami pd gives a crap.

Will look into them, not sure what they are.

I was very skeptical at first, when my friend showed them to me, then he put them on, and at night it makes the car "look" more like the intensity of the G35c or Lexus / Acura newer taillights... but in the daylight all the chrome and stuff is not my cup of tea...

So, Love the Technology and the Illuminated Look, hate the design.

This is what I got. I had it professional smoked black. you can still see through but its dark enough so you dont really see the chrome stuff.
