If all you are interested in is replacing the worn out leather, you could just have your seats recovered.

From a decent leather shop it will run about $300-400 per seat but they will look like new. You won't have to mess with brackets or harnesses. That would be your best option unless you are going to put the car on the track. If you are just going to street drive it, I'd recommend getting your current seats recovered.

That's the thing, though - I want the harnesses, I like the look of racing seats, and who knows? I might want to take it to an autocross event someday. I don't like the stock seats very much. I guess it's just a personal preference thing. You know, like how a lot of people buy spoilers, but not all of them get it because "it helps stabilize the car at high speeds". Or how people get bodykits not to enhance the aerodynamics of the car, but because they like the look of it. Carbonfiber hoods not only to reduce weight, but to get the CF look. See what I'm saying? It's just how I want the interior of my car to look, I guess. Thanks for all the help and advice
