Rice or not rice? Anyone have this bumper or have any pics of it installed on an FD? Any pics suggestion would be much appreciated since I might by this bumper.

 

IMO this is one of the best bumpers available for the FD. The original design is by RE-Amemiya and this is the 2002 N1 Version. But based on the picture you have here, most likely you'll be buying a replica. Chuck at www.rotaryextreme.com carries both the original and replica...the replica is a great deal at $400 for the front bumper, and Chuck is a great guy so you should definitely get in touch with him. I am not overfond of it, but the two intakes in the front can probably make a world of a difference

 

Chuck from Rotary Extreme also sells that N1 Bumper. I bought it recently, and it's on my car waiting to be painted. Be warned though, the fitment is not great. The corcers where it lines up with the fenders takes some work.

 

Don't agree.Rice.. The lip is takes away from the original lines of the car .....

It's hard to beat at $480 including lights. I noticed you're in SoCal. The shop is in El Monte. You should go look at the bumper. Hell, I should go look at it since it's only a couple of miles from my house.

Honestly, who cares what anybody else thinks? It's your car. I think it's goofy looking personally, but you shouldn't judge your choice by an item's popularity.

That kit is pretty nice. Was contemplating on getting that, but stuck with 99 spec instead.

Jason from jt imports has the Amemiya front end in white. I've always loved that front end.
