Arrow Anyone got Pics of a double DIN in an FC?

I would like to upgrade the sound system,so I thought I would go with a Double Din System.
Maybe a rear camera setup..and so on.

Does anyone have any pics of their setup installed in an FC dash.
Also any recommendations on FRONT speakers..under dash.

Thanks Lads.

I like component speakers meaning two speakers a mids speaker and a tweeter. Or you could do it cheaper with a regular speaker. Lots of choices out there. I don't own a rx-7 but for my front stage on my current setup I'm using crescendo 6.5 components and a silk dome tweeter. Sounds amazing imo

I've got the Back speakers well taken care of..hahaha!..(52 pounds of them!.seriously!)
The fronts I am thinking about a separate woofer in the door and a midrange/tweeter setup on the dash...still debating that.
Has anyone tried the cheapie Ebay 6 inch or 7 inch Double din Stereos?..

I'd also be interested in seeing some setups. I've been thinking of doing the same.

I have a double din in my 91 vert, and it really came out good. I do not have any pictures right now because I am having the engine rebuilt right. I got it off of ebay, and it does everthing. Below is the link to the one I got.

MA Alpine IXA-W404

I do NOT recommend the radio. It was slow and laggy. But for double din photo i think it works.

I made a custom bracket to hold it from aluminum. sold it to someone in CANADA!

I have that same radio, and it was not slow and laggy. It processes way faster than any of my Pioneer multi-media systems and has way more feathers for a quarter of the price. And it connects in more ways to my portable devices with out all of the extra hardware components. I have it for about a year and very reliable.

Are you sure it was the same radio? This one is very old from Alpine probably about 8 to 10 years old it was their first high-grade radio of the size I only got it because my brother bought it through a wholesale retail her and then I picked it up off of him like two years later which was about four years ago.

I always made sure my iPod was up to date and every time I got in my car if I tried to search for a song the menus moved very slowly and if I change songs a little too quickly it would freeze and I would have to turn off the radio and turn it back on

I know shortly after they made the W407 which was supposedly light years better and it looked exactly the same.

Yes I am sure. The unit that I gave the link to is a brand from China named Eonon. And I bought the unit when they released it less then a year ago. So it is a fairly new product. It even charges my iPhone, which my pioneer never would charge when I connected it. I have never had an issue with my song playlist when I connect it to this unit. It also has all time navagation, where my pioneer unit does not. With my pioneer unit, I would have to put in the navagation disc for me to be able to use the Nav. With the Eonon unit, they have a small memory card that has it onw slot.

OK.
I got a Problem..(shh..!,not that problem!)

I got the Pioneer Avic6000 NEX system.Double Din System.

I need a Dash Install kit and I am running into brick walls on what to use!
The problem is the Unit doesn't fit the S5 surround(the deck is too small, needs a face plate, mounting kit)
Has anyone installed a 6.1" NAV unit in their FC and what the hell did ya use??!!!
