Any of you guys have the windows tinted? post pics

I was thinking of tinting my rx7 side windows both the driver side and passenger side and the rear. The rear was done a while ago but i want it really dark, darks as it can get. I am not doing the tint so much for the look but for keeping my interior protected from the rays of the sun, especially the leather seats. So whats you guys think about this and, anybody got some pics of some tint work done on the third gen, please post.

I wanna see this too. I need to get my windows tinted and I want to see what different tints look like on black cars.

My mechanic has a silver 94 with tint, it is cooler in the summer and looks great. It has clear side marker lights . no antenna ,no embems and silver 3 spoke 17 inch rims. All together looks clean and good . You can still tell it has red leather through the tint up close .

Mine red with just the back windo tinted. Even during the day time the sides look tinted. So in other words I'm sticking with the clear sides for better viewing during night driving. Plus they look tinted anyway.

Check the laws in your state to find out what is legal then figure out what you want.

It may look cool but it will attract cops like a magnet, since they will assume you are hiding or doing something illegal. It also makes it dificult to see your side mirrors much less your blind spots. My side windows are tinted but only half as dark as the rear. I can't upload a pic though.

When I purchased the car (3 - 4 years ago), the windows were already tinted. It is a little too dark for my taste... yet, it has grown on me.

At night time, windows must be down to see.

My car had illegally dark silver tint when I bought it. At first I had intentions of getting it removed, but I started liking the look, as well as people not being able to see in, and ended up leaving it. So far I've had the car for 2 years and have gotten one $125 tint ticket. I leave the side windows down most of the time in the summer.

Sorry, but this is the best pic I have at the moment, but you get the idea....

Mine is 5% on the back and I think 20 on the sides (whatever is barely legal) and the inside stays so much cooler now.

For some reason, I don't want my windows tinted anymore. I was honestly thinking about it, but the tint on the black FD will make it look TOO dark, especially with the tail lights being tinted too. I kind of want to keep the stock look. It all depends though- if I get expensive stuff on the inside, the windows will be tinted, but I believe MD is strict with it's tinting laws.

Tinted silver rex. Georgia weather forces me to tint mine. It also keeps the lookie-loos away.

Mine was like this when I bought it, so I don't know what % it is. I like the look.

Personally, I think this topic belongs in the Interior section of the forum.

Why? Because the emphasis is on "tint". Not on the 3rd gen RX-7.

Antera. Don't know which model; they were on the car when I bought it. Previous owner said the original owner put them on when the car was nearly new, so I assume they're kinda old.

That's another reason I didn't want tints. I wan't people to know it's me. Besides that, it makes the car stand out from the usual "tinted modded vehicle" that is so common.
