Unhappy Another door lock problem

I did search and found a couple threads that were close to my problem but actuall worse than mine. My problem is with the inside door lock on my driverside only. When I dissarm the alarm to unlock the doors both levers flip up but my drivers side doesn't fully unlock. The lever flips up but not far enough to unlock it. also after I shut the door even if I'm in the car sometimes (about 1 out of 4 times) the lock will go back down a little (it still looks unlocked) then I have to push it up a little to unlock the door. It's not that big of a problem I'm just getting tired of trying to get in or out of my car and always having to push the lock up or use my key from the outside(if my windows up). I don't have this problem at all ever with my passenger side. That side unlocks using the alarm key and doesn't lock when I step out of the car for a second. Do you think it's something that needs to be lubed? Any help would be great! Sorry for the long thread. Thank you for reading/responding.

Sounds like the aftermarket actuator needs some adjustment. If it has moved then the angle could be wrong.

How is it adjusted? I don't want to tear into my door panel if I don't know what to do or look for. I also heard it has a pain to take it off. I figured it was an adjustment or something but I'm not too sure since I haven't taken the panel off yet. Thank you for you advice.

Well if you don't feel comfortable taking off a door panel, then I wouldn't recommend you making adjustments to the actuator. Either find a good shop to do it for you or better yet take it to whom ever installed it.

Well the it must have been installed before I bought it. I feel completly comfortable taking my car apart. I pry into stuff all the time. I once took a camcorder apart and actually fixed it. I just wanted to be sure or close to sure of the problem. Thank you for your help I'll try fixing it this weekend and I'll post my results! Thanks again!.
