Another Bose Radio Help thread-no power

Hey so I'm having problems with my deck powering up. I bought the car this way, figuring it would be an easy fix, guess I was wrong.

I've checked 1A and 1C and they are both getting 12v and my ground harness is grounded. I've removed the CD player, and broken it in the process, mostly because I didn't really care and am wiring up an Aux input. I've wired up the input according to the miata writeup, http://www.miata.net/garage/external...interface.html, and also jumpered pins 5 and 11 with a 10k ohm resistor, but at the aux input instead of the plug. (I took the DIN plug from the CD player and was able to use the wires that were already attached to the plug, so I soldered the resistor onto the ground of the phono jack and to the wire coming from pin 11 on the plug).

I did accidently rip out the the wires on the far right when removing the stereo, I believe they go to the power antenna, two grey wires and a pink wire, I don't believe they have anything to do with powering up the deck though, but please correct me if I'm wrong. It's fixable, but will be a bit of a hassle.

So, if anyone can help me figure out why I'm getting nothin from this sucker... it would be much appreciated. I've been on a motorcycle only for about 9 months now, I miss my music!

I have no idea on this one and looking at the elec diagram appears it should all power up. Bump for you on a confusing situation.

Did you consider maybe the deck is faulty? If power/ground to the unit is good and it still won't turn on I'd say you're looking at a new deck.

99% positive now that it is in fact the deck. i guess its always the weirdest things that go bad when a car sits for a while.
