Here is a couple of compairson shots of the stock rubber cover & the drilled/dimpled aluminum cover I manufacture for Auto brake pedals on FD's.

!st shot is the stock rubber cover on top of the Aluminum cover. Shows that it's not any wider & only 1/4" taller
