You are not supposed to do a fuel pump kill with that security system.

And Viper.com or Directedelectronicsinc.com has security wiring

thanks..and oh ya, i dont plan of having that kill switch anyways, turbo timer is useless cus i have to manually turn on the switch to make the fuel pump work.. its crazy tho, now i hear a little buzzing sound underneath my feet especially when my car is idling low, or even when i slightly rev my car i hear my fuel relay clicking.. i dunno where the hell did the alarm instally tap in his wires just to make the viper alarm work.. this is just pain in the ***!

791 install is pretty straight forward on a RX no modules or relays needed.... and i can't see how the unit will effect the fuel pump relay at all unless you grabbed the wrong wire somewhere. did you test every wire to verify before you tapped into it?

Hi "73828793"

actually i got a professional installed 791. tho they might have done a just good-enough job on it.. i went under the steering column where CPU unit beside the fuse box etc, and i see that they have tapped in a wire or two on the CPU Unit..

oh btw, i got an RX guru tested all the wiring that feeds power to the fuel pump it self and they seems to be just fine, we tested an ohm meter in the fuel pump connectors at the back of the car and its fine, but when we switch the ignition to "on" possition it goes out.. all relays are fine too.. would you happen to know where the fuel cut wire on the 791 is supposed to be tapped in on my 86rx7t2???

on the 791 there is no fuel cut wire, there is just a starter kill which is a purple wire and a green wire coming off the satellite relay harness. the wires you see under the column are probably all the satellite relay connections which are 12 volts, starter, ignition, accessory. your factory fuel pump relay is also up near the steering column, but they should have never connected a wire to it since the 791 does not have a fuel cut option... i'm thinking you may have a bad fuel pump relay or if you have a kill switch that could be shorting out the pump.

i see, well i just recently put on a direct temporary wire from the battery-switch-fuel pump, to drive my car to the electronic shop where i got my 791 installed.. i have tested the relay underneath the column and the one beside the front left shock of the car and they were fine.. tho to make sure i will check then again.. anymore relay i missed out? my manual book seem to have another relay in the front of the car underneath the airbox, how do i test that one??

and also, would you happen to know why would the relay under the column make this clicking sound when i tap the gas pedal? its more like when i tap the pedal, engine revs up, click, engine revs down, click..

Got my 791 and the install for $350.

Have a pro do it.

Im very comfortable with wiring, and ive screwed up two alarms. Theyre just too much of a PITA.

makes sense, the AFM is tied into the fuel pump circuit and i believe varies fuel pump voltage to supply the correct amount of fuel according to engine load. i would ck the AFM while your at it. good luck

the only thing you have to do is repair that wire cause melted wires usually melt other wires and cause a short! fix that asap!
