aggressive looking ssm's?

my fd is ssm and im contemplating on going with the rx8 diamond grey metallic since i cant really find any good looking aggressive ssm fds. i think its just too light of a color.

please post the meanest looking ssm's in your folders and help me not have to deal with a color swap.

this is the canvas

i want it lower, i want to run 18's with decent widths and good offset. i want aggressive.

Hey Steve! I certainly respect your feelings in regards to color and it does make sense. I've personally always been a big fan of SSM's with tasteful CF bits (sideskirts, rear diffuser, front splitter and perhaps mirrors) that when properly lowered have always been aggressive for my tastes.

A darker silver with those same CF bits would still probably look quite nice.

Like so much else it's a personal choice...for me Lambo's are too over the top! =)

I personally love SSM FDs. You can't go wrong with the 99 spec kit either. I'd save the money you would spend on a full color change and buy a nice set of forged wheels/sticky tires. Here are the usernames of some more aggressive SSMs to search for:

Scrub

FDmuri

I think there are a few reasons you don't see what you are looking for. Maybe not the "aggressive" part, but at least "good looking" ssms aren't that frequent. Most SSMs seems to be 93-95 spec, have original paint, and photographed poorly.

See my thread here:

They can look nice, and it's much cheaper to repaint the same color than color change. Plus, it stays original. That's my plan anyway.
