Advanced Keyless Entry Thoughts

So, it seems to work as advertised. I have attached photos of the places that I mounted the antennae. Proximity antennae are behind the trim where I have circled and the override antenna is the block that the arrow is pointing to on the dash. I may move the rear one back more, but it hasn't been an issue so far. Locks/unlocks about 2-5 feet away from the driver's side door handle. The variance may be due to the frequency that the system checks for the key. In any case, it is almost always unlocked before I touch the handle. The system came with a ignition disabling relay (grounds while the system is armed), which I did not use because I really just wanted the keyless feature of it. Most of the necessary wires are available in the harness connector (11 pins wide) which attaches to CPU #2 (anti-theft system). It does auto lock and unlock depending on the ignition state.
I do have an aftermarket door actuator in the driver's door. It uses a pair of relays (one for lock and one for unlock signal). The car used to have bose, so I used the power wires for the old door amplifier to get the signal into the door rather than running a new set of wires. When the actuator moves the lock, the factory switch in the driver's door sends a signal to the passenger side so it locks as well. Simple. Again, I only ordered the keyless entry system. I can't attest to the button start, but I'd be surprised if it didn't function just fine.
If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to try and answer them. Sorry that I didn't detail the installation process... I don't have a lot of spare time right now.

Interesting! install looks very clean.... What happens if you are driving and accidentally hit it? Do you have to press and hold to turn off the car?
I actually like the starting switch on the left side of the dash instead. Left hand starts, right hand shifts to gear, car starts left hand on wheel and go~

Car I bought has an autopage system in it. I have never heard of them before and I am scared to look under the dash and see how bad the wiring is hacked in the car. The PO worked in security systems and video surveillance so it could be ok but he did mount a boost gauge where the lighter went and perfectly hidden by the wiper stalk so..... It unlocks the doors, will start the car, and will roll the windows down remotely. It also rolls the windows up when you start the car and locks the doors when you go in motion (may do that stock?). It will page you to the key fob if someone triggers the alarm. I am worried my two year old is going to play with my keys and run the car through the garage wall. The PO said he always parked it out of gear with the E-brake on but I can't get used to that. I have been driving daily it the three weeks I have owned it and have not had any issues yet.
