Added resistor for lighted RX-8 shift ****

Most of you know that the RX-8 lighted shift **** can be alittle bright in our cars.

I purchased a whole bunch of resistors from mouser.com but only found some that did an effective job (purchased too low resistance).

I found that the 1.2kohm 10w high ohm cement resistor knocked the light down sufficiently. I would prefer for it to be alittle dimmer but didn't want to order more resistors. If you are going to try I would suggest getting this one as the lowest and purchse more with higher resistance.

the part number is 280-cr10-1.2k

remember to splice it in on the hot side.

I can't remember what the GB price was. But a forum member organized it. Unfortunatley I think the price out of the GB was ~$200. They are only available in England, so they are difficult to get. Do a search and you should be able to find more info.

*thats for the lighted 5 speed version. I think you can get the lighted six-speed version here in the States.
