This has to be one of the best bangs for the buck....$500 bucks for the original...about $7 bucks for a can of spray paint and some paper for masking the holes...If you have ***** you can attempt it yourself but I see lots of first timers screw theirs up nicely...It's worth it to have someone do yours if they've done a bunch just to know you will get the job done right.

Ryan when are you gonna bring on those sleepy HID headlights. Ive been waiting and waiting and waiting and .......

 

Well i absolutely love the 99 tail lights and have decided that I am going to do the modification to mine. I went and bought all the things I needed today and I am planning on doing it tomorrow. Luckily I read the thread on how to remove them so I learned from Mahjiks mistakes . Thanks man, great minds think alike right? Any tips or hints before i start?

 

what mistakes did mahjik make?

i'm considering doing them myself soon too. as much as i'd like to support rx7even or rzograbian, i don't think i could wait the 2-4 weeks without the use of my car.

 

I paid $400 for mine. You have to shop around to find the deals though. I know, it's still 4 bills, but you can always sell them if you ever sell your car. '96+ JDM FD taillights hold their value. I've never seen a used set go for less than $300.

 

I'm confused too since rx7even did mine.

Great Guy, hes doing mine right now, makes the emails and communications easy and trustful! i highly recommend that you send your Tail lights to him, ill post pics of his work when i get them back.

Don't worry guys, he's not going to keep your lights. He's probably just a little busier right now than he anticipated.

It will be well worth the wait when you see them on your car.

 

Mahjik was correct, I was quite busy with work, and by the time I got home from that, I wanted to do nothing but sleep, so I didn't get a chance to check my email (or respond to this thread, which I accidentally forgot about).
