99 Taillight conversions

Hi all,

I've gotten a few emails recently asking if I am still doing the taillight conversions. Just thought I would post for anyone interested that I AM still doing them, and the price and everything is still the same. Anyone interested can email me at rx7even@yahoo.com.

Thanks,

Ryan

This has to be one of the best bangs for the buck....$500 bucks for the original...about $7 bucks for a can of spray paint and some paper for masking the holes...If you have ***** you can attempt it yourself but I see lots of first timers screw theirs up nicely...It's worth it to have someone do yours if they've done a bunch just to know you will get the job done right.

Well i absolutely love the 99 tail lights and have decided that I am going to do the modification to mine. I went and bought all the things I needed today and I am planning on doing it tomorrow. Luckily I read the thread on how to remove them so I learned from Mahjiks mistakes . Thanks man, great minds think alike right? Any tips or hints before i start?

what mistakes did mahjik make?

i'm considering doing them myself soon too. as much as i'd like to support rx7even or rzograbian, i don't think i could wait the 2-4 weeks without the use of my car.

I paid $400 for mine. You have to shop around to find the deals though. I know, it's still 4 bills, but you can always sell them if you ever sell your car. '96+ JDM FD taillights hold their value. I've never seen a used set go for less than $300.

Don't worry guys, he's not going to keep your lights. He's probably just a little busier right now than he anticipated.

It will be well worth the wait when you see them on your car.

Mahjik was correct, I was quite busy with work, and by the time I got home from that, I wanted to do nothing but sleep, so I didn't get a chance to check my email (or respond to this thread, which I accidentally forgot about). I've talked to everyone that has sent me lights though, and they should know about when to expect to see them back. Thanks all,

Ryan
