I am doing a widebody.....If you are planning widebody, be prepared for a massive headache, little odds and ends, and most of all, your car being down for a couple of month.

Don't get the widebody kit. You will scrub whenever you go to the car wash!

Seriously though, get the '99 OEM bodywork - beautiful and classic.

Why have you limited yourself to only those two kits? Border makes a nice kit, if you're looking for something different.

I agree with sprockett, there are a lot of good bodykits on the market. I personally don't like the 99 spec, but thats just my opinion.

If it's meant to be a "company show car", I recommend getting the widebody. There are several 99-spec fd's out on the road already, and with a current GB going on, there will be even more. A widebody is something that i think ~ 90% of us won't have the funds/capabillities to do. Just getting new tires/rims in that fat of a size will break a lot of us....
Of course, this is only if your goal is to be different & stand out...

Been getting lots of pm's with people wanting to see the widebody, so here it is. Still in the process of getting it on, like I said before, been running into some problems.

i had bought the veilside long ago and then gave it away because i hated the look. to me the body lines dont match at all w/ that kit. i have seen some though that look good but its not my style. i agree ROTO i think the widebody would stand out more. maybe i should have made this a poll!

the veilside c2 is fine. its really not that bad. I must say i have yet to see an rx7 with a widebody kit that i like. Something that really pisses me off about widebody kits these days is that someone can have 1 inch of flare on their fenders and there car is called "widebody toyota celica" or something. A widebody kit is one that comes with fenders where the whole fender is wider than the stock one or the fender flares are a good 4 inches or something. but thats jjust my opinion.

i think the right correction for the celica name would be "Fender Flared Celica"
