99 Spec tail light housing
Is the housing for the 99spec tail lights the exact same as the earlier lights?
One of my 99spec tails has a cracked housing. Its not visible when installed since its the rear black plastic but its bothering me since the tail light is 'Not Perfect.' If the older housing works I should be able to easily swap them (2-3 hours max). What do you people think?
(buying new 99spec tails is not an option

The shape of the lamp (housing) is the same.
If it's not visible when the hatch is closed, I'd just hit it with some silicone sealant to make sure it doesn't leak and call it a day.

^ I have a set of regular mint RX7 tail lights so I thought about swapping housings. Then I'd have mint 99specs and silicone the regular tail light (thanks for reminding me about using silicone
)
Has anyone done the housing swap?
I'm hoping there is no 99spec specific issue that comes up
