99 Spec tail light housing
 

Is the housing for the 99spec tail lights the exact same as the earlier lights?

One of my 99spec tails has a cracked housing. Its not visible when installed since its the rear black plastic but its bothering me since the tail light is 'Not Perfect.' If the older housing works I should be able to easily swap them (2-3 hours max). What do you people think?
(buying new 99spec tails is not an option :lol: )

The shape of the lamp (housing) is the same. :)
If it's not visible when the hatch is closed, I'd just hit it with some silicone sealant to make sure it doesn't leak and call it a day.

^ I have a set of regular mint RX7 tail lights so I thought about swapping housings. Then I'd have mint 99specs and silicone the regular tail light (thanks for reminding me about using silicone :) )

Has anyone done the housing swap?
I'm hoping there is no 99spec specific issue that comes up
