What, you mean like stealing one? Just because you want something, doesn't mean it should be priced so you can afford it. Don't forget, you'll have to have signal lights, a lip spoiler, and have it painted too.

What's wrong with the stock front end? Don't you have bigger priorities than an aftermarket bumper at your age?

there is a different way around it. If you can't afford it wait. But if it ain't broke, why fix it?

the stock front end looks just fine
but if you really wanna change it, id say change it if you get into a front end accident or something happens to it where you need to replace it
like what hondasr4kids said..."if it aint broke, why fix it?"

If you want to do it right with the brake ducts, under tray, etc etc... it will be over 2k.

Yes you do... When a minor 10 - 15 mph front end impact causes considerable frame damage to your FD because there was nothing between the other car and your front frame rail, you'll realize why it's there

It really scares me how a lot of guys drive around w/ aftermarket bumpers and no re-bar. Granted, if you get in an accident in the FD, pure odds say the damage will be so great that a re-bar wouldn't have made a difference. But when we're talking about frame damage (practically permanent) from a stupid minor fender bender, why risk it?

just smash your car into a street sign or a cement wall or something, and go to the insurance company. Tell them that someone back into you and file a claim . Go to the dealership get a authentic 99 spec and be happy all you have to do is pay the deductible of 500 dollars or something. The STOCK front bumper looks awesome dont change it that how the car is suppose to be. LOL please dont take my idea.

Special order? They're rapin us as it is w/ STOCK parts. What ya think they're gonna do for "Special" parts? Refer you to the Finance Office, run a credit check, and finance it for you?

Far as I know, I don't think any of the dealers could order 99 stuff.

Get an RE plateless replica nose for $500, and replica signals for $175. You don't need the rebar. You don't need a new undertray. Depending on your oil cooler setup, you may need ducts for those. You will also need to do a little sealing around the radiator if you track it... just as you do for the 93-95, just a little different.

Your only other cost will be labor for fitment, and paint. The RE DID need some fitment work... it wasn't, and isn't perfect. I paid about $800 for the instal/paint from a guy who is good, and did a good job. If you get an OE piece, it will cost more to buy, but cost less to fit because it bolts on perfectly.

Note, when I say you don't need the rebar, I mean the '99 bar. The 93-95 will work with a little trimming. Ramy is right about the crash protection angle.
