99 lip. Might need some work to make it fit perfectly though.

I had a painted R1 lip before, but decided to switch to the new 99 spec lip instead.

The older lip fit a lot better, but the newer one looks a lot more agressive. And functions better at diverting airflow than the R1 lip.

The R1 lip scrapes constantly.

The 99 lip is flatter and sits higher. No scraping yet. Not a perfect fit but close enough. It's agressive looking too.

Just get both like I did
It's not like it's too expensive, so I just bought one of each kind, and I'll switch them off every now and then when I get bored. I'll loan out the one I'm not using at the moment, so it doesn't go to waste. Variety is the spice of life, right?
Same deal with shift *****, too (i think I have 3, including the stock one)

i searched and found a lot of good info although i wasn't satisfied with most of the pics. it seems that the majority votes for the 99 lip and i'll take that into consideration. some say that the 99 lip is lower (pomanferrari) and that the r1 is shorter and doesn't scrape as much. i just sold my authentic cwest kit and am going back to stock and now i think that it looks wayyyy better without a kit and smoother with the stock end but just missing an aggressive lip. my car is low but i dont want to worry about cracking my bumper everywhere i go. the lips are made of rubber right? i had to repaint and bondo my cwest bumper numerous times before, but not anymore. thanks for your help members.
