i never held the 99 lights in person and i need to know what are dimensions of those lights? Length, width, depth, etc.

I want to see if it's possible to just modify the hole where the stock light is right now, and put 99's in.

You're going to need to do alot of fiberglassing/body work to reform new recesses for the lights, they are a totally different shape, and bigger... not to mention fab up mounting tabs, etc. Probably cheaper to pick up a '99 bumper to go with them.

I thought about that, but 99 bumper costs a lot, plus to get it shipped and painted... i'm over 800 bucks. And then i still have to buy the 99 lights. I mean cutting 2 holes and trying to make it work should be that big deal.

You can't just "cut two holes"... you'd have to form the recesses where the lights sit. They aren't just bolted to the outside of the bumper... look at your 93. They're recessed.

In both cases, you'd still need to buy the '99 lights, and have the whole thing repainted. You can pick up a aftermarket 99 nose for 5-600 bucks.

Yes, it costs, but so does custom body work. I guarantee you you aren't getting this done with an exacto knife and a trip to home depot.

That looks tight! I would just try it. Or get a good body shop to do it. Take off your bumper and give em some ebay 99 spec (fake) and show em where you want it.

I think the one you did on paint looks better than the real one, but I think the ones you put on there were a little smaller than actual size. But the stock nose looks good too, just as it is. You're making my decision whether to stay stock and get a 99 lip or get aftermarket very hard, shame on you!
