I just purchased a 1998 spec front lip to replace my stock version that was split in two (don't ask). I was wondering what kind of fitment I can expect. Does it snap in like the stock one or do I need professionals?

 

I think you mean the '99 spec is what you got, '98 spec should be the same as what you have now I think. Anyways, the '99 spec doesn't fit perfect around the corners of the stock bumper because of course it was made for a '99 spec, but it fits fairly well. Oh yeah it has some kind of alignment nipples on it and I ended up cutting those off.

 

it is one of the easiest mod to do.
did your lip split in half in the middle?
if so, that is normal.
