I have a 93 rx7 and was trying to figure out a way to repaint or refinish the interior plastic pieces so that you cannot scratch them with your fingernails or accidentally damage them. I couldn't find anything on here so I figured a new thread would help. Thanks for any information.

 

you couldn't find anything, or you DIDN'T LOOK.

i know for a fact that there are multiple threads about repainting in the interior plastics, as this has been a problem with '93 rx-7's since day one.

don't be lazy. learn how to use the forum.

Check out my thread. I used the bumper coating on my plastics. They turned out great. Just make sure your plastics are smooth. Basically it's all in the prep work with these. The paint works wonders. If you prep them well, coat with about 5-7 coats.

Nah the search function works wonders.

I came up with plenty of results searching for "plastics" for "only titles" in the 3rd Gen and Interior/Exterior section

I've had more luck using google to search the forum "site:www.rx7club.com interior plastic paint"

 

advanced search function is great the regular just put the topic in the box sucks.
