8's in the rear of a FC?
Has anyone been able to fit 8's into the back of their 2nd gen.? I've tested the towers and they fit my sub perfectly, however the space available came out to half the volume required by the sub. (Kenwood KFC-W2002, meant for porting/bandpassing, approx .2 cubic feet vs .4 required)
Now I was wondering what way is the best to port the tower. I thought maybe to fiberglass the inside to seal up all the holes, then get a 3" or so PVC pipe and put it in the fender or inside to give the extra space.
Thoughts and comments are appreciated!

Well, if you put acoustic stuffing in there (fluffy white stuff), itll make the sub think it's really in an enclosure 25-50% bigger than it is...that would help. Plus, if the enclosure is to small, it will still play, but the response curve won't be as pretty as if it were in a larger enclosure. However, wahtever you do, it's probably a good plan to seal up that tower as best as possible...air leaks with woofers can lower the spl more than you'd think.
