I've been thinking for quite some time about trying to put a sub in my Vert. I wanted to get something set up so I dont have to use my trunk for the box and I did not want to lose my spare tire.

So this is what I came up with. Its just a work in progress and not the finished thing so please bare with me on the looks.

nice! i love seeing mods of verts! my vert is the leather so it has that little 4inch sub mounted back there - but i think yours is gonna bump a little louder. lol

NICE! Back when I had a vert I did take out the spare and made a custom box for 2 10" subs. I had to take a sawsall to the metal that held the spare in there but I used every last inch of usable airspace to get those in there. I even had to file down the corners of the box for it to sit flush in the tub areas.

Keep posting progress, looks like a good plan.
