Angry 88 FSM-In need of wiring diagrams

OK, I've searched around here, over at FC3s, and at iluvmyrx7 and I cannot find an 88 FSM that has wiring diagrams. I'm in the process of slightly upgrading the audio in my 86GXL(I have that FSM-which has nice wiring diagrams as well as audio layouts) to include an 88 CD player but I can't seem to find the audio/wiring diagrams for the 88 RX7. The cassette player in my 86 is killing me and I need to swap it out before I do the other audio stuff(amp, speakers, Extigy, PDA, HT, etc.) Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks, this will help. What I'm trying to do is rebuild the in-dash audio stack, swapping the CD player for the cassette player and hopefully keeping the equalizer. Wish me luck!

In your travels, have you determined if the wiring harnesses are different from the CD to the cassette or if the wiring harnesses are different from S4 to S5? I am trying to put a stock CD from an '89 vert into an '88 vert. From a visit to the salvage yard I determined that the connectors on the back of the '88 cassette and the '89 CD are different. Not sure what was originally in the '88 vert which I am attempting to install the CD in. Bought the car after it had been vandalized. The car was vandalized in a successful attempt to steal an aftermarket sound system. The original harness was apparently cut off when the aftermarket receiver was installed.

I guess the basic question is - did the color code for stereo wires change from 88 to 89? Anybody? I realize the headrest speakers and rear speakers were added to vert's in '89, just need to find an '89 harness and determine the wire color codes for both the '88 & '89 vert (I think). If all I get my hands on are the harnesses for the '89 CD I suppose I can rewire the car.

Thanks for any input.
