'86 Headlight converstion

Where can i find a kit for this? All i can find are the '89+ kits will these work on the '86 as well?

the s5 kits should work i think....im pretty sure they didnt change the headlights any.

fc is the 86-91 generation, and the fd is the 92-3+ generation, you can further break up the FC generation into 86-88( the s4 ) and 89-91( the s5 )

yes its the same bumper, other than the bottom half, but thats not where the lights are

Yes, the S4 and S5 headlights are exactly the same so any 2nd gen conversion kits will work. Eastbear has a kit and is the only one I'm aware of currently that will fit without modifying the stock bumper. If you want an RE Amemya (sp?) kit or similar, you must change out the stock bumper for an aftermarket with their headlights as well otherwise it won't work.

The other suggestion is to custom fabricate your own (what I am planning) either using an existing OEM headlight kit or piecing together lights from OEM or aftermarket. If you could fit something like the new C6 vette sleek light kit (my preference) or the OEM eclipse that would work. If you know someone that is good at fiberglass that would be the ideal thing so it is exactly how you want it.
