6.5" speaker change in 1st gen.

I just bought 6.5" mb quart speakers for my first gen. I saw a thread a while back were someone changed there stock size speakers to 6.5" in the front and the rear. Please help! If any one can help me find the best way to do this or tell me where I can find that thread I would really appreciate it.
