That's not a conversion. The ones you saw are from the 89- models. They are about $850 new from Mazda.

Finding them used is hard. I'd suggest ebay.

There are no aftermarket lights I have seen.

As Sonic said, the rear lights (among other things) are different on 89-91 FC's.

There are no aftermarket tail conversion lenses for the FC, and quite frankly this is a good thing. As you'll start to see, most of the people on here consider the Rx-7 outside the 'riceable' catagory. Any rice or tacky aftermarket bits are usually frowned upon. There is a purist attitude here for the majority. So no cleared tails, led washer nozzles, stickers, big wings etc. Most of all, NO V8 CONVERSIONS!

you say s2000 lights will work. Will they bolt on or are there any mods ill have to do. I was going to get some Supra taillights and just fill in around them.

any other taillights besides the fc taillights will have to be molded on. i just think someone should experiment with photoshop and see how this combo turns out. i think the r33 taillights are by far the best choice. i would do it if i had a fc, just cause i like the lights not because i want it to look like a skyline.

Actually big wings are ok.... Ever seen RE Amemiya's cars?

I totally agree though. I'm so picky and careful with what I do now. Wheels have been a total chore to come up with for this car.

I will admit though... I do have indiglo gauge faces. They are silver face to match the other gauges and reverse light up so it's not so bad.

Yeah the RE A cars are fantastic. I like that camoflauge one they had for the Tokyo Auto Salon recently. Their wings are directly inspired by the JGTC though, so they pass. It's the universal fit abominations that look like a bench seat that are no no's.

Indiglo gauges are okie dokie in my books.

Thanks everyone. I'll look into those 89-91 taillights. I think I'll come out cheaper buying those off ebay, rather than molding some in. I just put on my Apexi N1 catback system , it sounds GREAT!!!
