When I was taking my dash out of my rex to repaint it, the gauge cluster cracked near the bottom left near the steering column part. I was wondering what I should use to seal the crack?

I recently bought a used transmission because mine was really fucked up and the person i bought it from had put a 9.5 aluminum flywheel in to replace the stock one (only had 3K miles on it). I was wondering when I take my flywheel off and put the other in do i have to shim it or do anything to it at all?

#1: if it's not really noticeable, i wouldn't worry about it.
#2: it's just R&R, nothing to shim or anything like that.

did the guy u got the tranny from include the flywheel with the purchase?

if the crack bothers you. use some jb weld it does wonders of little things like that.

People say you should have the flywheel resurfaced. If there is low miles on it, then it should be ok to use without having it resurfaced. I also assume you are getting the clutch too?

I've heard some people not having any problems without resurfacing, and some that have.
