I know this has been discussed before but I can't find it. Does anybody know if RX8 seats will fit in a FD? Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Will they bolt in place? Maybe.

not without major fabrication, the stock non motorized seats may be able to fit, but you will need to make brackets. I discussed this in depth a while ago and even went and took measurements of the 8, if you would have searched you would know that. They are quite different. Plus they don't hug your body well enough to be an upgrade. They are nice because of the rotor shaped head rest, and I wanted that in my FD bad. There was a guy that owns both and he was going to check it out. I never heard anything about it again. There is also a guy that did it in the FC, check 2nd gen forum.

To each his own! I found them to be very comfortable. As far as them being an upgrade, anything is better than worn 11-13 year old cracking faded seats that most Fd own have. At least the Rx8 seats are still designed to be as light as possible unlike most of the after market seats.
