1999 jspec FD front end conversion

hey guys i need some advice.
i really want to get the 99 jspec turnsignals. but really 1500 is a bit too deep in my opinion.

can i buy a replica front bumper, like cwest, feed mazdaspeed with the 99 signals cutout and that is fitted for 93 models.

and then just buy the turn signals seperate?
will they bolt right on? what kinda moddin?

and one more thing, stock 99jdm signals and the feed 99 signals. what are the diferences??

thanks ahead

FEED has a HID option for the city light assembly. I had asked Chuck from Rotary Extreme about it and he said that the FEED HIDs only fit into the FEED bumper.

To me though the 99 turn signal and FEED HID assembly look the same in shape.

Jason only has 2 bumpers left, yellow and white and the 99 spec turn lamps are out of stock. Sucks cause I want this conversion too. Guess I'll have to wait a while longer....

Pettit Racing carries for $550 a replica of the 99 spec bumper without the license plate "square" on the front. On the downside, it's made out of fiberglass.

Those Feed turn signals are made for the FEED 2R bumper (that is a little different from the FEED 2 bumper that fits the 99 spec turn signals) which are a little bigger than the 99 spec turn signals..

so I'm assuming that i can buy any replica bumper with the 99+ signal cutouts for my 93. then just buy the signals.
i am wondering will the lights fit right in. is it easy to plug in.

bumper with 99 cutouts an sgnal lamps would cost around 900 bucks.

cheaper than get that 99 front for 1500

I wish someone would do a group buy on the Pettit front end rather than the OEM with that stupid plate block. We could prolly get em for 400 bucks!

Mazda would have made a small fortune just selling 99 OM front end kits if they had left that stupid block off... it still baffles me... what were they thinking?!

$1298 is that with shipping?

Why would you ditch the rebar if you paid for it? Jason would split the kit?
