I would imagine there were more than one option as far as the head goes. Mine came with a horrible 1/2 din am/fm radio(might have been a clarion but not sure). The speakers for the rear are the 6.5 on the strut towers. The front speakers are a bit more ify: doors or dash. The door mounted speakers are 5.25 but you can do 6.5(like i have) for the dash, you get 4 i think(if youre upgrading, dont bother putting anything in there since they fire down and cannot run that much power into them anyways-instead use the space for a x-over for components on doors)
And thats pretty much it. no bose system, or fancy subs or even a decent head.

In the Towers:

Tweeter location
I've got them by the 'demister' vents right next to the doors, basically as far part as possible. This also let me run the wires from the crossover up the side behind the dash without taking anything apart.
The highs are dispersed against the windshield and combined with the 4" mid in the dasd and 6-1/2 mid-bass in the door, the sound is awsome!
A good sound stage with clear vocals and crisp imaging.
